The Ruut series was born out of the need for a truly versatile bike - one that’s comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance rides, yet has a distinctly sporty character. At Rondo, everyone is a competitive athlete - they ride fast, they race - but they don’t need a bike for the CX World Championships. What Rondo expects from a drop-bar bike is that it can ride long and fast, especially on rough roads. After over two years of development, they’ve created a tool they believe is the ultimate solution for real-world riders.

From Pavement to Trail

The RUUT AL0 is the most versatile bike in the collection. It’s a hardcore commuter, training partner, adventure seeker, and cyclocross racer all in one. The RUUT AL0 features a lightweight yet rock-solid frame, a Selle Italia Model X saddle for comfort on rough terrain, a bombproof drivetrain, and all the fenders, racks, and bag mounts a rider needs. This bike is equipped with a TwinTip fork featuring FLY technology. A lighter, more horizontally rigid, and more compliant version of the brand’s fork. Internal cable routing ensures a clean look. The versatile and reliable 700 x 40 Vittoria Terreno Dry tires offer excellent grip on varied terrain. This bike is the perfect companion for spontaneous explorations between pavement and trail.
